Great Southern Hotel Sydney, Sydney

The hotel is conveniently located near Central station, making it easy to access public transport and explore Sydney. The rooms were clean and tidy upon arrival, but having two single beds instead of a double bed was a bit unexpected. The dining options were satisfying and very affordable, although some areas could use a modern touch.

The hotel had neat and very clean rooms, which was exactly what I was looking for, but they were tiny and needed a refurbishment. I would suggest new toilet seats as the current ones are worn and discolored. The staff were friendly and efficient, but the room was not ready until 2 pm; however, they were welcoming and accommodating. The location was good, close to the center, train station, and other places I needed to go. The dining experience was good value at $12.00 per person, but some buffet items seemed old and the setup lacked staff availability to assist. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
